Archiving Policy
Data Repository / Archiving Policy
WeAvecU Journals are committed to open science and the responsible sharing of research data. Authors are strongly encouraged to deposit their research data in reputable open-access data repositories that provide persistent identifiers, such as Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), to ensure long-term accessibility and citability.
To maintain the integrity of our double-anonymous peer review process and our data sharing policy, authors should select repositories that allow for anonymous data sharing. This means any data made available for peer review must not contain identifying information about the authors or their institutions.
Recommended Practice
For anonymized peer review, authors may use repositories like Figshare to generate a “private sharing link” that enables reviewers to access the data without revealing author identities. This feature is designed specifically to support anonymous peer review and should be used to ensure compliance with WeAvecU’s anonymity requirements.
Archiving and Digital Preservation
WeAvecU Journals ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of published content through robust digital archiving solutions. All journal content is regularly backed up and preserved via recognized digital preservation networks.
